About Us

The Child Safe Program of St. Vincent’s Center is an outreach and educational program aimed at preventing and reducing the negative impact of abuse on children, with a special emphasis on sexual abuse. The Child Safe program offers workshops, consultation, educational materials and online training programs for primary caregivers, professionals, volunteers and children around the topics of sexual abuse awareness, prevention, and intervention.

Our comprehensive approach draws upon the clinical experience of the staff at St. Vincent’s Center as well as best practice recommendations made by leading experts in the field of abuse prevention. We offer a positive, health-focused approach that emphasizes increased awareness, healthy sexual development, and adult responsibility for protection.
